It started with a missed hotel check-in. Not because I didn't have the confirmation — I had it. It was buried in a folder with 47 other emails, and I was standing outside a locked apartment in Rome at 11pm searching for an address I'd booked six weeks earlier.

I tried a handful of travel tools. I tried building my own spreadsheet. I tried a folder system in Notes. Nothing stuck. Every option I found either required too much manual work upfront, or wanted access to my entire inbox and still didn't do the job well.

The insight behind TripsHub is simple: your booking confirmation emails already contain everything. The flight number, the departure time, the terminal, the hotel address, the check-in instructions. You just need something smart enough to read them — and organised enough to make sense of them.

With AI becoming genuinely capable of reading and understanding unstructured email text, it became possible to build what I'd always wanted: forward an email, get a proper itinerary. No linking your inbox. No granting permissions. No weekly manual updates.

TripsHub shipped in October 2025 and has grown steadily since, adding gap detection, a trip assistant, visa checking, live flight status, local events, and more — all from real feedback from real travellers.
